Douglas Fir is quite common in the Northwest and is easily identified. This evergreen is used medicinally in a multitude of ways from applying pitch to sores, infections and used on the chest for lung pain.
This light green bar of soap gets its color from Douglas fir needles hand harvested each spring and infused in oils. These potent oils are then blended with organic oils and local animal fats to nourish the skin. This cold process soap makes a creamy lather topped with Douglas fir needles.
INGREDIENTS - *olive oil, *coconut oil, tallow, *castor oil, *unrefined shea butter, douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii).
