Why do you use animal fats in skin care products?

Lard and tallow are filled with saturated fats. Rich in many fat soluble vitamins like A, D, E and K. Animal fats are often unappreciated and go unused. 

The lard and tallow i use comes from local cows and pics from high quality family farms. I then render it myself before it is blended into soaps, salves and face balms, 


What is a hydrosol and how are they used?

Hydrosol are gentle plant waters created through the distilation process. These waters contain trace essential oils and cellular water from the plants. They are gentle and effective

Hydrosol help to deliver the therapeutic properties of the plants directly onto the skin. Naturally balancing because of its PH, plant waters tone and hydrate the skin. 

They can be sprayed directly onto the skin and used as a toner to hydrate. Combine with a serum for optimum absorption. Mist onto your pillow or fresh bed linens. Add hydrosol to a clay face mask. Spray to cleanse and clear the air.  


What is face paste?

Face paste is a combination of infused honey and clay. It can be used as both a face mask or a face wash. Honey is antimicrobial paired with clay being drawing and exfoliating. 

Because of the honey it will not dry like a standard mask. It can be applied and left on for 5-10 minutes before being gently washed off.
